How does an induction melting furnace work?

Cutaway diagram: power supply, water-cooled copper coil, magnetic field and eddy currents heating the charge in the crucible
  1. Power supply

Low voltage, high ampere, high-frequency current is supplied to the copper coil.

  2. Water-cooled copper coil

A high-frequency alternating current is fed through the water-cooled hollow copper tubes.

  3. Magnetic field

According to the Lenz law, a reversing magnetic field is produced.

  4. Eddy currents

Eddy currents inside the metal produce heat and melt the charge, without direct contact with the induction coil.

Why Choose Us

Installation & Commissioning

Supply, power and water cooling are checked at your site, then the machine is signed off on a first supervised melt with your own metal.

After Sales Support

After-sales service handles installation follow-up, replacement parts, breakage and accidental damage.

Crucibles & Consumables

Crucibles, graphite inserts, ceramic parts and finishing media are supplied through the same service channel.

Cast-Lab

A working melting and casting laboratory for operator start-up courses and trials on your own samples, before or after purchase.

Finish-Lab

Operator instruction and test runs on your own parts with vibrators, tumblers, polishing and blasting lines.

Service Center

Help with production difficulties and advice on the most profitable operating procedure for each job.
