OPSOLO DRGN 24

The OPSOLO DRGN 24 integrates the advanced OPSOLO Series induction heating system with Universal Robots cobots (UR5, UR5e, UR10, UR10e) to deliver a fully automated brazing solution. This system is designed to replace outdated and unsafe torch brazing methods with a modern, precise, and highly efficient induction brazing process.

The integrated induction coil, mounted directly on the robotic arm, enables accurate and repeatable heating for multiple joints in a single cycle. By applying precisely controlled heat at the exact location required, the OPSOLO DRGN 24 ensures consistent brazing quality, improved operator safety, and optimized productivity for high-volume manufacturing environments.

Process Description

The OPSOLO DRGN 24 automated brazing system is designed to perform precise, consistent, and repeatable brazing operations across multiple joints in predefined positions. Brazing alloy rings are typically pre-assembled onto the joints prior to the process. The robotic arm, integrated with the induction heating coil, follows a pre-programmed sequence, moving to each joint and applying power for an exact duration to ensure uniform and reliable brazing quality.

For enhanced automation, an optional automatic wire feeding system can replace brazing rings, delivering the alloy directly to the joint during heating.

The OPSOLO DRGN 24 adapts easily to different production line speeds and multiple assembly configurations. For advanced flexibility, the system can incorporate an optional vision system, capable of detecting a wide variety of assemblies and dynamically positioning the brazing coil for accurate alignment at every joint.
